Into the past of Qali and Tai:

They knew each other before they "first met" at that rave. KINDA.
Tai was a dorky freshmen, Qali was a cool Junior. Tai crushed on her. Qali...just thought he was a silly lil freshmen. And thought he was funny.

Tai was always using pick up lines on her. And Qali had always found pick up lines hilarious so she'd always respond by bursting out laughing.

But one day Tai told her a pick up line that made her heart skip a beat and her face turn red. She got a crush back on him.

However...cause of events that had happened in her life at that time, she didnt allow herself to let her crush grow larger.

Years later at that rave, Qali still looked the same pretty much so Tai instantly recognized his high school crush. However, Tai didnt look like a dorky freshmen anymore and Qali had pretty much forgotten about the dorky lil boy.
